The city of lakes : Udaipur, Rajasthan, India

This beautiful lake in the picture is the Pichola lake in Udaipur which is one of the most picturesque lakes of Udaipur. It’s an artificial fresh water lake, created in 1362 AD, named after the nearby Pichola village. It extends to 3 miles in length, 2 miles in width and depth of 30 feet. Two islands, Jag Niwas and Jag Mandir are located within the lake.
