The volume keys are on the left and the power button on the right. The fingerprint sensor combined with a heart rate monitor is at the back next to the rear camera. The Galaxy S9 is dust proof and water resistant as it has IP68 certification.

Performance and Camera

The device is powered by a 2.3GHz octa-core Exynos 9 chipset and 4GB of RAM. There are no performance concerns. Even heavy mobile games and multitasking can be performed without any lags.
Galaxy S9 has a dual 12-megapxiel rear camera which is backed by a dual-tone LED flash that can handle low-light photos and videos. With optical image stabilization and phase detection autofocus, the imaging piece is capable of capturing good photos in most lighting conditions. The front camera is of 8-megapixels.

Display and Battery


It has a 6-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display which has vivid colour reproduction that makes videos and games more enjoyable than ever. Also, there is Corning’s Gorilla Glass protection that prevents the screen from attracting any unwanted scratches.
The smartphone is fuelled by a non-removable Li-Ion 3,000mAh battery which is tipped to last longer than the Galaxy S8. The battery on the Samsung Galaxy S9 also has support for fast charging.
